Now accepting product reviews!

I know, I'm supposed to be an expert at this by now.   Not only did we launch Channel Crossings Press nearly two years ago, we live here in the Silicon Valley, the global hub for everything online related including commerce and marketing. Which is why I feel a little silly not having added a Customer Reviews function to the store until today! Needless to say, Customer Reviews are extremely valuable. They help our prospective customers know we are real and that other real people love our products. They also help inform Google as the Google search bot tries to distinguish our store's value from a zillion other domains across the web. The folks at Google are super smart and so...

Now accepting Bitcoin through Coinbase!

Much about Bitcoin has been written and discussed over the last couple years.  But Bitcoin as a method for payment is still a bit mysterious to most people.  I'd include myself in that group until recently.  I was in a meeting at a Andreesen Horowitz, a venture capital firm based here in Silicon Valley, and got an amazing introduction to Bitcoin in general as well as Coinbase, the startup that is building a nice business around this new system for open payments. Finding Retail partners has its perks

As we continue down the path of relaunching Channel Crossings Press, it's important for us to find local merchants interested in carrying the Channel Crossings products in their stores. We're not sure yet how large a role local retail will play. We're coming from more of an eCommerce background. After a productive afternoon in San Francisco, I think we're making progress in adding new Retailers to the Channel Crossings family...more news on that front as we line those relationships up...in the...

Standing the test of time

Recently, a close friend was signing some papers in the conference room of a law office on Martha's Vineyard when he noticed a beautiful chart framed nicely and hanging on the wall. Upon closer inspection his initial suspicion proved to be true, the chart was by Channel Crossings Press and he had first seen it in our home office when he and the family were over for some bar-b-que during the summer. He snapped a quick photo and shared it with me! He also mentioned learning from the lawyer that this was his favorite chart! It's gratifying to hear these stories and know others enjoy the beauty and depth of detail in the same way we do.

We eat at Beachside Cafe!

Happy to announce, our latest customer is Beachside Cafe in Goleta, California.   Situated just down the beach from University of California in Santa Barbara, Beachside Cafe has been a regular spot for us for years every time we're in town visiting the family.  In fact, my brother in law had his wedding rehearsal dinner there....oh, a few years back. So, given the family history, we're super happy also now to count Beachside Cafe as a customer of the newly re-launched Channel Crossings Press! Having ordered a variety of Santa Barbara channel placemats, now, every time you belly up to the bar, you can check out our awesome designs! But don;t worry about spilling. The heavy lamination makes these placemats...
